“Ms. Corsack was instrumental in conducting a multi-year research project with the State of California. Among other vital components, this project required face to face interaction and data collection with parents and caretakers of the children of California Welfare Department (CWD) clients in the field. These CWD settings can be fraught with complexities and required an approach both caring and understanding but also focused on acquiring the data required for proper research findings. Ms. Corsack not only developed and administered the survey instruments that captured parents' and caretakers’ experiences with this particular intervention, she was commended by County staff for her professionalism and tact in completing data collection while respecting the CWD staff needs.
Ms. Corsack also explained the research to audiences unfamiliar with research methodology, and her easy, but obviously expert, manner helped us recruit additional partners that will allow us to expand this pilot project and offer this important intervention to California’s deserving families.”
